OOC: Adele rocks. <3

No! Makita thought as she stared out over the edge of a dark cliff. This was not her home, yet it was very, very highly elevated. What was there to make it better? A twister making it's way across the land, coming to sweep Makita off her feet yet again. "Don't take me away!" she shouted at the storm. Lightning flashed across the sky, lighting up as bright as the day even though night had fallen long ago. "I've finally found a home! Finally have people I love!" Love. Haha. Well, being as overtrusting as Makita was, that was probably only a little bit of exaggeration. She did have friends though. Angier, Alexander, Weldering, Vlarindara, Kinis. Oh no, please don't take me away from Kinis!

Kinis had been up on the mountain recently and Makita had the chance to meet him. She remembered the day so well. They had been on the mountainside, staring at the beautiful Relic Lore, while they spoke of good and bad and families.. Such a deep conversation. He had watched her mauled by a bear without a word, and that conversation had proved that he wasn't just a coward that didn't speak. He'd turned out to be quite nice company and out of all the wolves in Relic Lore she'd met yet, it was probably him that she wanted to see again the most.

The storm raged on, sending rain falling into her thick tawny pelt. The twister continued to advance on her though, and now tears were streaming from her golded eyes. Oh.. no.. please.. she thought hard, her tail curled up under her body and her ears flat against her head. There was nothing she could do. Nothing. Running away would be cowardly in the first place, but there was literally nowhere to run. She couldn't hide, the place was rockless and treeless, so there was nothing to hide against.

As the twister progressed, her golden eyes widened. "NO!" she shouted, because whirling in that twister were the bodies of the ones she loved. Kauda swirled around and around, gripping the massive white body of Kanaii. Liss and Johante were limp as the wind forced them to hit Tracenda and Aadte. Farther down were the ones that were simply friends. Vlarindara was screaming bloody murder. The white female had saved Makita's life, but now Makita was too cowardly to save hers. Angier simply whimpered alongside Alexander. Her alpha.. helpless. There was a grey blur which Makita guessed to be Weldering. At the very top, Kinis's body was highly visible. He wasn't swirling around like the others however. The young wolf just floated there, staring right into Makita's eyes. She knew that look, it was betrayal. "Oh, I'm so sorry.."

Miserable, Makita swallowed hard. Her golden eyes peered over the edge of the cliff. It was so far down... Letting a whimper escape her throat, she took a step forward and closed her eyes. Her stomach felt like it was in her throat as she flew and an annoying loud sound filled the air. It was her own shriek.

...

Makita's eyes fluttered open, wide with fear. It had been just a dream, but it was so realistic. Golden eyes scanned the area, she was curled up on the ground in her bloody den. The young second let her head flop back down on the ground and closed her eyes, though she was careful not to fall back into sleep. Lately, she had been having the worst of dreams. Twisters and bears and everything bad.

Kinis had been in her dream. Nobody was ever in her dream that wasn't her family, except maybe a few friends. Yea, Kinis was a friend, but he wasn't at the bottom of the twisters with the others. He was at the top, shooting her a look of betrayal. Right then, Makita had just wanted to save him, to keep him safe maybe, but instead she had jumped off the cliff. What a coward she was.

That was when Makita realized the tears in her dream had actually been leaking out of her eyes during her unconsciousness. Oh, how embarrassing. Luckily it was just her den, nobody around hopefully. She let her mouth open in a wide yawn and hesitantly pushed herself off the ground. By now, she was almost completely healed, except for a little limp in her legs. By May 5th, she should be ready to start hunting and doing regular things again. She was so excited. Still yawning, Makita took a step out of her den, waiting to see what this day brought her.

we are all decieving, lost, and bleeding.

It was a decent day, it was sunny with a streaks of several groups of white, fluffy clouds. The wind was not blowing, a happy blessing, and the untainted mountain air was cool. It was really perfect, the more she thought about it. If there were only going to be more days like these she would have no compliants. She'd think. She was not doing much, just staring down at the landscape when she heard the most, horrible shriek coming from the ground beneath her. Skin flinched beneath her pelt, and lips curled into an ugly snarled position. What the hell?

Straight away she jumped to her feet, and sought out the ruckus. There would be no one harming anyone on her turf. The source took her took the dens of the members, and eyes wildly searched for danger. All she saw was the brindle girl resting outside her door. Sure this was the source, she jumped down to the level to see what the commotion was about. When she got there, she saw nothing out of place, only smeared tears on the girl's cheeks. Cream paws took a step closer, her face now a blank mask while butterscotch eyes looked inside the opening tunnels. "You okay?" She asked, her tone holding little concern. She really didn't see an attacker or reason for the girl to be shrieking, and crying. She looked fine now.

OOC: Sorry for taking so long!

Makita's heart was pounding and her breaths were shallow. Kinis' bright orange eyes filled with betrayal were all that her mind could register. That was until she heard the voice of another wolf. Her hackles rose defensively, even though she was in no mood to fight or defend herself. Teary golden eyes rose to see who the person was. Great.

Skylah stood in front of her, her copper streaked fur bright in the blinding sunlights rays. Honestly, this was the last person Makita wanted to deal with at a time like this. Something about the girl had always made her weary. She had never scared Makita, but she just was an annoyance, like a fly in her ear.

"I'll be fine." Makita replied, her voice stiff but shaky with tears. Why are you such a baby!? she told herself mentally. Don't show her your weaknesses! She narrowed her golden eyes, which quickly trailed back to her paws.

Long hairs along her neck pricked in return. Makita may have been a pack mate, but when it came down to things Skylah wouldn't hesitate to attack, and defend herself. She really didn't know the girl that well, only that she was perhaps emotionally unstable. Really wasn't a good combo, young and moody. Sky could only expect the unexpected like she'd been taught to. Of coarse she knew she'd annoyed the girl on there short visit. She could care less. It wasn't in her to have everybody like her, unlike some wolves who couldn't stand to have anyone hate em. And honestly Sky didn't see why she was second in the state she was in. Sure, she'd been attacked by a bear, and some other wolves. Shouldn't she be stronger, not a crying mess? She didn't know, but she was pushing on the edge of her own nerves.

The girl showed her unfondness for the copper lady. Muttering a lame excuse. She would be fine? Doubt it. She appeared rather shaken by a dream maybe? Or some thought to be fine. Now or later. Sky decided she'd try and be nice. She'd often gotten into scuffles with her adolescent siblings not to try and make friends now . Least make nice, and try to comfort. "Are you sure? Something else happen?" She asked. Sure girls could cry for "no reason", but Sky was sure this girl had a reason to be looking like hell right than. If she didn't want to share, fine. If she snapped at her. Sky just might snap back.
