Rissa's Rest I've got a heart of gold

They were silent for a long time. Sahalie wondered if there would be any place named for herself, and if maybe there was a way it could be something other than her grave. No wolf liked to be forgotten, and Sahalie especially hoped that she could have an impact on the hearts of other wolves and on the landscape for years after she was gone. She hoped, wherever or whatever Rissa was right now that the girl was happy, in no more pain, and that she liked these little white flowers. "Rissa's Rest. That's good." There was no sense dressing it up or obscuring the name so that no one would remember what it was named for. It made the girl wonder who, if anyone, Heiress Loch was named for, and how long ago? Was there a story to that too?

The girl let the air still between them as Ice's sigh subsided. The next step seemed obvious to her but she hoped that it would not be too painful for the old man. "C'mon, I'll take you to the Bend." So many wolves would be amazed to see him again. And even if everything was very different now the girl assumed that Ice would want to see it, would want to know the story. Sahalie just wasn't the girl to ask. Her answers lacked any detail since it was all just a vague history to her.

At last the two wolves pulled away from the gravesite of the smallest Tainn.
