Elettra Archer
[ im going to assume crux took position so we can get this moving along. i hope thats alright. :3 ]

Sucess! The deer would scatter, rushing off into the brush, most of them passing Elettra and Crux up as they made way into safety. Elettra would keep her placement, mouth watering and despite this, doing her best to keep her placement instead of snapping at one of the limbs that passed her way. After all, such a thing would certainly give up her placement. So she waited, eager, impatiently as her hackles rose, ears back and her eyes into slits. The moment the buck was close enough, followed by Aisling and Raigo which snapped at it's heels, Elettra would lunge forward from the brush, her upper half lifting, snapping for the side of the young buck's neck and in hopes that Crux would be taking hold on the other side. Her teeth would lath into the soft flesh behind the buck's cheek-bone, lower jaw clamping to secure her hold as it would slice into the flesh at the side of the deer's neck. She had only but to hold on!

<blockquote><i>So to keep this going, I'm going to say Crux helped Elettra (hope that's okay Chels) and it's time to eat x) But of coarse feel free to add how your wolf might have further helped, and what not. If everyone could post by <b>November 3rd</b>, that'd be great. :) and there is no post order.</i>

Swiftly Raigo, and Aisling both settled into position. Her eyes would dance from pack members to pups as the deer realized they were not alone. First she startled when Trisden moved, but realized it was only for a better look. She let out a silent sigh of relief, and continued to split her attention to both hunt, and the children's reactions.

Once it started it seemed to happen rather quickly, almost as quickly if she were out there in the imx. Her teeth dug into her cheeks, now and again when she worried for the safety of the Grizzly Hollow wolves. All went well, and Elettra snagged the buck first while Crux was a white blur on the other side. It was clear the deer was going no where but down, and she looked to the children with a grin. <b>"Shall we race?"</b> She asked them, both proud of the fact they had stayed put, and the job her pack had done. The mother did not wait for an answer, she gave a quick wink and darted off toward the rest of the group. She did not run fast though, she trotted so shorter legs would have a chance to catch her.

When she arrived she looked with a smile to those who had made the hunt a sucess. <b>"Well done,"</b> she proclaimed, her high tail wagging with the joy she felt. She lifted her muzzle to the sky, and sang a proud note of victory, hoping everyone else would join in. They had reason to celebrate.

After a moment quietly her voice faded, and she found the faces of her children. Now it was time to eat, mis-matched eyes went to her pack-mates, then to the carcass. It was a decent sized deer, and she took up her place to skin the creature. Her sharp teeth cut against it's hide, and she stripped it down revealing what they really wanted. A lot of packs would make pups wait, she liked to give them their own, they could settle who got what among them. Like she always did she found the heart of the buck, and pulled it out. She stepped away from the deer, and placed it near her pup's feet. Next she turned back, and began disecting the buck for the liver. When she found it she gave that to the pups as well. She returned to the buck, and stood. <b>"Dig in,"</b> she said, then pulled a piece of rib meat for herself. She knew Elettra, and Raigo would get to picks after she, so she walked over to the pups, lying down in the shadow of tree so the rest of her pack could pick out what they wanted.</blockquote>

Elettra Archer
Held on she did, as Crux would take to the other side of he buck, doing much of his part by brawn and might, as he was the largest of the members within the small pack. Her body, for a time, hung in the air as the buck had reared, leaving her to tug and pull at her grip, but only did it falter once more to four limbs as Aisling and Raigo took hold as well and together, they easily overcome their prey and as Elettra would take a quick scan, without hindering any of the members of her pack. With a blood coated muzzle, she would lift her crown to the sky to sing with her leadess, her song deeper, strong and perhaps even, eerie to the tone. At it's finish, she would step back to allow her leader to get the most healthy portions of the deer for the children before choosing what she wished for herself and made way. Hungrily did the woman lay by the flanks of the beast, tearing into it's thigh area.

Raigo Akreon

It happened all in a blur. As Raigo advanced on the prey, he saw the white form of Aisling in his peripheral vision, diving quickly into action to help him lead the beast towards its doom. Crux and Elettra broke their cover and Rai heard the buck began to bleat furiously as it realized that its life was dwindling to an end. Leaping with strength the yearling did not remember he had, Raigo tackled the buck, and he felt the body give way beneath him. He wasn't sure who made the final kill, but before long, the young beast fell to the ground under the weight of the four wolves. It's life gone, Raigo leaped backwards. Throwing his muzzle to the sky, his tenor tone rose up in harmony with the Grizzly Hollow wolves around him. Tail wagging eagerly, he watched as Jayse and the pups came out of hiding towards the fresh kill. And while the scent of blood was tantalizing to him, and the primal urge was to dive forward, he stepped back, giving his leader first pick of what she wanted. As Elettra approached the kill, he too stepped up, letting his teeth sink into the soft flesh of the stomach area. Ripping backward, he heard the satisfying tear of flesh, and as he trotted off with his prize, he felt pride well up in his chest. Despite the loss of those who had once been most dear, they were still a pack, and one who would thrive ahead despite the impending winter.
