They'd find a place
eventually, or sometimes they'd just said
soon. Everything wasn't going by fast enough and often Larkspur worried about Castel. The girl had been dropping behind much more than he would have expected a girl as young as she was. Regardless, he decided to just keep his distance from their little rag-tag group and spend a little bit of time to himself. He enjoyed the alone time, though knew that eventually he'd be feeling lonely and slink on back to his little makeshift family. It wasn't much, and he didn't really feel that strong bond that he had in his own pack, but it was enough to keep him close. At this point he had nothing else, and leaving on his own seemed.... less than ideal.
A dove (barely a meal, but a meal regardless) hung lip from the man's jaws as he walked on in search of a comfortable spot to lie down and eat. Ahead of him were two wolves, one just a tad familiar. He caught the brunt end of them talking about girl issues and the white man snorted, his face wrinkling up. He stopped and watched for a moment, but then decided his time would be better spent tearing into the dove. Larkspur turned and continued on his search.
