carry me home
Phyrrus & Bear
i don't wanna feel this anymore

How long had it been sense he had last seen her? His silver maiden had simply vanish suddenly from his grasp. Where could she had gone? The Bend had been, was, the safest place for them to be. While it had pained the dark Dunn greatly he knew he had to move on sooner or later. Carry out his once again bleak life within the place he seemed to call home. It sure didn't feel like home anymore. In fact it had never really felt like home to him. He felt so foreign and out of place with everyone there. A loose sigh left his lips at the thought. The dark male had to be letting everyone down.

This evening he had felt an urge though. He wished to try and seek out any trace of @Phyrrus, even if it seemed rather helpless. Heading north towards the creek he'd visited briefly in passing he wondered if perhaps he'd find his maiden there waiting for him. Basking in the colors of the sunset; he could just imagine the colors shining on her silvery grey fur. Whining he picked up his pace. Moving at a quick trot to the creek.

When he got there a familiar smell rattled his brain. Was he dreaming? The dark Dunn hadn't truly expected to find her here. Following scent trails they seemed rather fresh, heading down the creek shoreline. With a louder whine the male trailed after it. If this was a dream he didn't want to wake up. A soft voice could be heard calling a name, "Phyrrus?" With heart beating as fast as a heard of buffalo and butterflies taking flight in his stomach, Bear's fiery eyes sought out his silver maiden.

Phyrrus Nereus Monodora

It had been quite some time since she had left the Bend without a word. Everything was slipping from her grasp there. She couldn't stand the change of being in danger to being safe, and then back to danger. Bear made her feel safer than she had ever felt. She wanted her man back. The woman had been in Dragonfly Fen this morning and was now back in the Bend.

She didn't dare go in deeper, only pawing on the edge of the territory. She needed him to be there. Her maw opened to muster a weak whine. Oh how she wanted to scream to him. He had to be close, oh she knew he was. "Phyrrus?" Her heart leapt out of her chest and the silver woman almost forgot to call back. "I'm here I'm here!" She squeaked racing forward to find the body belonging to the voice. She crashed through the bushes, thorns daring to scrape at her sides, holding her captive. "Beren please!" She whimpered. "Where are you!" It felt as if mercury was welling her stomach, sloshing its weight around in her body. Finally, the brambles let her go and she was let free into the orange light.

Phyrrus & Bear
we don't belong in the cold

"I'm here I'm here!"

Oh lord! The male took off towards the sound of her voice. His name falling from her lips sweetly. "Beren please! Where are you!" Moving over rocks, debris, and bushes the Dunn knew he would find her. His maiden's silver form right in front of him. Standing perfectly alive. Alive. Whining softly his tail wagged behind him again. This time...he had managed to find a lost lover(?) again. Phyrrus wasn't like Rook. Bear had been able to find her even when she had been lost.

"Oh Phyrrus...come here!" His eyes slightly tearing up at seeing the older woman. Not being able to hold back he moved in forward to touch his nose to her cheek. The dark male even slid in a kiss to her chin. "Don't leave like that again...please. I can't handle that again." Of course he hadn't known her long but the time they did have felt wonderful. With her being ripped from his side had him feeling rather empty. He didn't want to loose any more than he already had. In fact he counted himself lucky to have even gotten Phy back to him.

Resting his head on her shoulders his breathing stayed rather heavy. Water eyes closed tight, his nose taking in her scent smoothly as to never ever forget it. "Ph-Phyrrus...we gotta get you home. Get you food and shelter." His concern now growing for the condition she may be in. How long had it been since she had somewhere nice to stay?
