Namid Veusain Thankfully, Nathaniel agreed to her request. She gave him a warm smile at this, appreciating the fact that he would go and do that so that she could stay with Neha. No doubt her mind would be a mess even in the few moments away from the sick child. Cernan meandered closer, gaze landing curiously on the bark at his siblings paws. His nose had crinkled and he looked from Neha, to her, to the bark as if in disbelief. The queen held back a chuckle at this notion, amused by the fact that he had such little hope in the fact that Neha would agree. True her only daughter was a pawfull and quite the instigator at times, but like Aleister and Cernan she knew that Namid would only do what was best for them in the end. Her attention turned to the girl in question, catching her saucer doe-eyes as they looked at her smelly medicine. Her nose crinkled much like her sibling’s as she took a sniff, mimicking a gag. "You promise it'll make me feel better?" She asked. “Of course darling, you know I do not lie,” she replied with slight indignation. After a moment of thought, Neha finally consented. "Humph...okay, but I want to try some fish this time...." she pouted, but Namid had no qualms with her act or her request. So long as she ate it, the woman had no problem. “Better yet, I will teach you how to fish. You, Aleister, and Cernan. How about that?” she said, nuzzling the pale girl’s ear. She watched quietly as the princess brought it into her mouth, frowning slightly at the way she seemed to wretch but kept going. Eventually, to Namid’s pleasure, she had eaten the whole thing. “Good girl Neha, thank you,” she praised. As Nathaniel came back with the moss she thanked him and took it from him, gently pressing it against the girl’s forehead and chest before laying it to the side. Gently she began grooming her, tongue pressing soothingly over her body and a hum rumbling from her chest as she lulled her to sleep. The princess needed a nap. Timid eyes followed the friendly man's feet as his form retreated into the landscape to get one of those cool little moss-balls for his languishing sister. Next though, was the much more interesting event of watching Neha eat something weird and probably nasty. Even if he felt for his sibling, and worried over her, there was the mixture of juvenile curiosity and amusement to be found in watching someone do something so strange and unpleasant. The princess had the entirety of the young boy's attention while she gazed dubiously at their dam. He caught every one of her words, even breaking his captivated stare to gaze at Namid's horatory reaction to them. Mother was right – she never ever lied. Not at all, or at least not to his limited knowledge. After all, that's why Neha already knew that the funny stuff would taste awful. Mama had said so. If she was right about it being nasty, she would be right about it helping.
She then asked for fish, and again the Prince turned to look at Namid. The words ignited his childish excitement, and a big smile broke over the lad's face with a soft gasp. His fuzzy brown tail wiggled into motion against the dusty ground. “Really?” the pup squeaked, forgetting in that moment that the current situation was not a jovial one. “Awesome!” He was on his feet now, but quickly quieted and simmered down once he noticed that Neha was reaching for the bark. She was really gonna do it. The youth's face softened with wonder as she chewed. His sister made the funniest face, and he stifled a quiet giggle and a smirk at her disgusted reaction. His tail waved in the air a couple times reflexively and came back to rest once the Vuesain Princess had retired to cuddle some more with their mom.
The youngest brother reclined once more, watching placidly as the moss ball was brought in and used. He supposed he would sit here for a bit more, maybe until Neha drifted to sleep or until he could find someone else to play with. Maybe he would go find dad or @Aleister or something. He'd just have to tell his brother that he watched Neha eat that thing. They'd have a good laugh about it, he bet.
