we are all decieving, lost, and bleeding.

Random pictures filled her head. They were fuzzy, and flickered from one to the next she was unable to retain what they were exactly. All she knew was her mind had escaped reality for a brief time till she felt the light touch of another. A natural reflex her skull pulled away, eyes opened to see the ebon toned face. Copper colored ears were pressed against her skull, as the last few moments of her life came back to her. She was near a stream, where she was being helped to recover. The hare's blood struck her nostrils, and made her stomach ache. Quickly her eyes shifted from female wolf to the dead hare, and than to brown male. Heartbeat was rampant behind it's cage, and quietly her pink tongue smoothed over her cream jowls. She hoped rest would be more peaceful, but didn't dwell on it. A curled smile, she tipped her head to lad.

"Thank you," she said, than decided it best to eat her meal. She would pay them both back, somehow. Right now, with a gurgle from her stomach her jaws snatched at the carcass, and she started pulling the sweet flesh from bone. She tried not to scarf it down, but still ate rather rapdily. Once done she slowly pushed herself to a sitting, and licked the blood from her face. Her gaze shifted between the wolves. "I doubt I can do well on my own, but I don't want the two of you putting me over your pack," she stated meaning well. She assumed the rest of the pack was kind like the pair, but time had taught her she could be wrong, dead wrong. She didn't have plans to join the pack, why would any leader let a strange, hurt wolf be taken in?

The morsel was devoured with little hesitation as Elettra woke Skylah from her slumber. Any confusion she might have had regarding her whereabouts were not readily apparent, at least not to Raigo. She said her thanks, and his tail wagged in merry compliance. The creme female seemed nice enough, and it had not brought him any hurt by bringing her food. He was kind by nature, with no real evil bone in his body. It was not within him to turn down a stranger in need, even if they were just that, a stranger. Though, gold eyes glazed over with desire as Rai watched her eat, and he was aware of his own stomach grumbling quietly. Once this mission was complete, he was off to take care of his own needs. He could not be responsible for others if he could not be responsible for himself.

Head cocking to the side in confusion, he puzzled over her words as she spoke up. What was she going to do then? She said herself that she would not be able to care for herself. And neither Raigo or Elettra would be comfortable leaving her to fend for herself, no matter how hungry they might be. So what was it she was proposing? "We should take her to Borden and Jayse." His suggestion was meant to be helpful, though if she had no intention of becoming a permanent resident of the Grizzly Hollow territory, it would fall flat and they would be stuck with the dilemma of returning to their pack or helping out a friendly stranger.

Elettra Archer
Although Elettra was unknowing of how long her second in arms had been gone from the pack, El was well aware of the fact that she had been gone nearly six hours, if not more, including her time settling here tending to Skylah and waiting on food, as well as the time taken up by finding Skylah and bringing her back here in the first place. The venture had begun with her search for new supplies as she often did. Although by now her leaders should be well aware of the fact that El so often wondered off for a few hours at a time for supplies and even to hunt for ether herself or the children (and to slate her wander-lust) this had been longer then any time before. Still, the thought did not come to light until Skylah had finished her meal and mentioned her inability at the moment to fend or hunt for herself until her wounds were properly closed and mending. A firm expression took over Elettra, a thin line in thought. She had been rather quiet for the few hours whilst the woman slept, yet her features never strained from both stern and concerned. She had a hot-temper yet in times as these had been taught to take on the leadership role in which she was displaying now. A single silky black ear would flicker backward to hear Raigo's suggestion and now her skull would turn back to him in order to respond to his voiced statement. "I see nothing else we can do." El's pale gaze would side-glance to Sky for a moment, for the woman had never mentioned what had happened to her pack or if she had any pack to call her own to begin with. Unknowing of the attack and that this is where the more children of Grizzly Hollow had come from, El only assumed that Skylah had been a rogue. "Stay at her side and help her walk. I'll scout ahead and call should any trouble arise." Although she had grown tired from all this, Elettra would still watch the trail should danger cross their path. After all, having had Skylah lean on her for support all the way to the dam had left her shoulder sore and her muscles worn.

She held her breath, understanding if it was from there they parted ways. She briefly tried to think what she could do to survive. Catching mice, eating the remains for other animal's kill. There were plants she knew were edible, yet that didn't sound awfully appealing enless she really was to die. She exchanged look from brown face, to silver tinted waiting for their decision. She tried to be hopeful, as they were both seconds of the pack. There must be trust in them, they were leaders as well. The boy spoke first, and the tips of her peppered ears tipped forward. She stowed the names away for furture reference, and than looked to Elettra knowing it was up to her.

The dark coated lady, her savior agreed. She caught her pale gaze, and wondered if she saw questions lingering in the grey liquid that was her eyes. None were spoken, and Skylah knew she would have to explain either to El or this Borden and Jayse who she was, what had happened at some point. Her lips part, drawing in the creek air as if that would help prepare her for telling of her story, but not yet. Head softly turning in Raigo's direction, she looks to him waiting to see how exactly he's going to help her continue the journey.

Shall we wrap this thread up?

What had happened to Skylah to put her in this condition? It was the one question that he had not made a point to ask, though now that they were stuck with the dilemma of what to do with her, that question seemed relevant. Given the sheer amount of wolves that Borden and Jayse were taking in, it almost seemed irresponsible to take her to them, but what else could they do? Neither Raigo nor Elettra were of the temperament that they could leave Skylah in her condition alone. And so when his ebony coated companion expressed her agreement to his suggestion that they take her to the leaders, Raigo approached the tan female amiably. She made no objection to their plan, though she also gave no agreement. As the fellow second stepped forward, to lead the small party back towards Grizzly Hollow, Raigo closed the distance between himself and the lone wolf. Grinning at her, he stepped up, so that their sides were touching. He couldn't walk for her, of course, but he could certainly be there to catch her if she stumbled and provide stability as they made their way through the woods. Checking that all was well, he looked up as Elettra began her scouting. "Ready then?" And he began to walk, keeping an easy pace that she would be able to keep up with, hopefully without too much strain.
