Just like that, her boldness was gone. Erebos watched as the little girl transformed into a far more diminutive wolf once again, taking her leave quietly with but a whisper of an agreement and a soft premiate of thanks. A chuff was sent after her in lieu of a goodbye or a you're welcome as his orange eyes watched her go, and he turned to Wren to look the boy over as well. Thankfully, the young warrior was undamaged and so instead of medical treatment, Erebos was able to invite the child on a patrol with him. They would need to make sure that none of the intruders' kin were nearby, lurking in wait of a word of success from the fallen duo. It was unlikely, but necessary to be sure of all the same. Despite how effective they had been, Erebos did not want one of the children to be caught on their own against another predator again. He could only imagine what might have happened if he hadn't shown.
Luckily, the rest of the day proved uneventful for the man and the orphan. It would seem that the criminals truly had been alone in their pursuit, and Silent Moon Plateau would not see a revenge strike.
