She trotted carefully through the dense and lush undergrowth as she searched the area for fresh herbs to bring back to her pack’s slowly growing cache. Slowly growing, though was somewhat of an understatement as it turned out that the young wolf was somewhat of a hoarder and gathering fresh herbs on a regular basis in an attempt to be ready for any possible situation. The den already had a disturbingly organized amount of herbs laid in neat piles and even spaced out regularly so that she could move between them without disturbing them.
She paused for a moment and looked around the small clearing she had come across, her brown eyes wide with recognition. This clearing seemed so different when it wasn’t covered in snow, this had been the very place where she had encountered her first wolf of this new land, @Tyne, A small sigh escaped the yearling as she thought back to it, so much had changed since that encounter.
A sudden wave of confusion washed over the young wolf as the various events from the past few months washed over her, There was so much change happening around her. The pack had moved, she was learning a variety of herbs, Raela and Gent were raising a family now. Family, that’s something that had been on the ebony wolf’s mind ever since her talk with Raela by the river. Now, the two wolves she considered to be family were raising one of their own and she wasn't sure how to feel about it.
She wasn’t as naive as she had been when she had first encountered Raela, but now, the thought of having to rely more upon herself was a daunting prospect. She had tried to start it gradually by moving into the healer’s den, both so she could keep an eye on the herbs and so that she’d be able to get used to sleeping alone. So much change...all started here, in this very spot.
