Drift's laughter struck her the wrong way, and she openly turned to him with knitted eyebrows. What was he trying to suggest, that no one cared whether or not he was here? What was so funny about literally anything they had discussed? He was looking at her now, though, and she quickly turned away, not wanting to incite anything. That he was thinking of her food comment was entirely lost on her. She had always just assumed her body was plump because she was well fed, and that there was nothing wrong with it. Spieden was equally plump and Spieden was great!
