Syla’s maw parted, exhaling a tired yawn as the yearling shook her chocolate coat, trudging slowly down the hillside, the sun setting in the west casting a pink glow across the vast cloud speckled sky, brown eyes looking upward upon the scene as the girl took in the scene, tired from a long day of sorting through the herbs with an overly complicated system and picking out the bad ones and disposing of them so that a curious pup didn’t find and devour them.

Sleep was the only thing on the Notch wolf’s mind as she plopped over with a soft hmmmppphhh underneath  one of the many cherry trees, slowly closing her eyes and welcoming the sweet and relaxing release that sleep brought. Drifting slowly as her conscious trickled away to rest...until a loud and repetitive cawing of something

With a reluctant groan, a coffee colored gaze blinked open and glancing upward, sitting there, in the spacious branches of the cherry tree laid a black bird, a raven Sylva realized as it cawed again. “Can you please shut up? I'm trying to sleep[/i] she grumbled bitterly, eyeing the bird, the only response she got was what she could have sworn was a louder, almost laughter like reply from the bird.

Rayne Flint
Hope you don't mind me tossing Rayne in here!

Rayne had decided to go for a walk in the cherry orchard, to clear his head a little. He had since gotten some meat back on his bones and was able to go on these short walks. Besides, it was a nice evening so why not go for a nice stroll? Several minutes were spent in silence as he ambled along in the orchard.

But that was soon broken by a crow laughing and a female voice asking it to shut up so she could sleep. Rayne paused in his walk, wondering who could be wanting to sleep here? Yes it was peaceful but a little too open for his liking. Then again, that was just his opinion and others could do what they wanted. Still curious, Rayne headed towards the voice and spotted a young wolf settled underneath one of the cherry trees. She looked very tired, like she had been busy all day and had only just sat down to rest.  She looked to be of little danger regardless.

“Birds aren’t generally very good at following orders, I’ve found.” Rayne called out with a chuckle in his tone to the young girl, stopping a few feet away as he glanced up at the crow. The crow just gave croaky laugh at him, as if agreed with what Rayne had said. “Especially crows.” Crows tended to do whatever they wanted and even seemed to rejoice in bringing chaos to the table.
