They had woken early in the morning, Gitano still feeling uneasy about what the stars had told him the night before. But he kept his mouth shut, Eidolon had not given him permission to tell her what he had seen and so he remained mute on the subject. All night he had slept fitfully, body twitching as his mind played through images of a faceless wolf with huge teeth stalking the pair from the shadows. When he had woken with a start the teen's heart was pounding and he stayed vigilantly awake until his friend woke too.
Now standing off of the borders of Namid's pack Gitano felt the same resolve that he had experienced last night. The pack could protect Eidolon and he would do his best to contribute what he could, even if it was only doing readings and mentoring Namid through her feelings if she still needed it. He had a sinking feeling that after he announced what he had to say that she wouldn't be so open to receiving his help but he could always try.
The yearling had told the girl by his side that he would do most of the talking to help ease her nerves and so with only a gentle pressing of his nose into her cheek he stepped away. Lifting his muzzle to the sky he called for Namid, announcing that the travelling minstrel had come to see her.
