Tinley Attaya
It had been a while since Tinley had gone so long without something to fight or heal. It felt a bit... odd. Like there was a large chunk missing from her life - a core part of who she was. But she hoped, by the smell of wolves that drifted toward her from the east, that she might be able to have a chance to utilize her abilities once again. Her short life had been one filled with blood, madness, and the art of healing. She was not used to simple travel; doing nothing, like she currently was. She hoped she was getting close to her destination.

Nearly eight months had passed since she'd last seen her father. She'd be lying if she said she was excited at the prospect of seeing him again. Instead, it set her stomach into uneasy knots, bringing saliva to her mouth and causing her to swallow convulsively. She supposed it was some form of anxious nausea, which made no sense. Tin loved her father, and had missed him all the time that he'd been gone. So it wasn't clear to her as to why she felt anxiety just thinking of him.

Anxiety wasn't something the soldier was overly-familiar with.

She had rushed into battle countless times without a hint of the nervousness she was experiencing. She and Mace had had a wonderful relationship, so it wasn't as though she hated the man for leaving. Perhaps she was concerned with what he'd think of her - with all of her new scars and experiences. She was a hardened, experienced soldier, and it showed in every ounce of her countenance. The faded black wolf held her head high as she walked, sunset-orange eyes flicking around her surroundings without turning her head. Though she was alone and rather exposed as she stepped into the clearing - filled with gorgeous green grass and colorful flowers - it was obvious that she was completely unafraid.

But living alone was... tough on a wolf. She was a few pounds underweight, and she was certainly tired. The trees she'd been walking through, and the mountain she'd been traversing, had offered little shelter from the patchy rain that had been falling that day. Fortunately, the clearing seemed to taper off on the other end into a cave. Tin could hear rushing water, and took her time heading through the flowering clearing to reach the entrance of the hole in the rocks.

Her ears had not failed her - there was a beautiful, flowing waterfall that fell into a stunningly blue pool of water underneath. Tinley wasn't one to often appreciate nature or beauty - at least, not out loud - but this place was gorgeous. She padded over to the edge of the water and leaned down to take a drink before settling herself down, allowing her aching body a moment or two of rest.

She could travel more later.
