Darkmoon only had to dig for a few seconds before the sound of rabbits scurrying through the tunnels greeted their ears; and, sure enough, one launched itself from the tunnel not long after. The she-wolf was after it in a flash, faster than Darkmoon could even begin to react. He watched her as she gave chase, before he remembered where he was, and his instincts kicked in once again. He sprang from his spot to follow the she-wolf, although he was much slower than she was. From somewhere deep in his brain, he decided to run to the left, to flank his accomplice, in an unconscious act of team work. Tongue lolling out of his mouth, the muscles under his fur rippling as he covered the ground, Darkmoon kept his eyes trained on the rabbit's movements, waiting for any opening he could get.
    In desperation, the rabbit veered off its course, straight in Darkmoon's direction. Darkmoon skidded to a halt, his claws scrabbling at the dirt as they fought for purchase. The rabbit ran past behind his back, before turning again, this time back towards its burrow. Darkmoon scrambled to get moving again, hoping he could cut it off as it ran back to safety. His lanky legs sped him towards the rabbit, but he was beginning to flag, and he could not get there quite fast enough. The rabbit was just about too far out of reach, yet Darkmoon was able to just grab ahold of the tuft of for on its tail, tripping it up and slowing it down. The act overbalanced him, and he fell face first into the dirt. He could only hope that this gave his partner enough of a chance to finish the job.

@Pilea - I hope this is okay, I didn't want him to catch the rabbit because he's not supposed to be that good at hunting, but maybe Pilea could catch the rabbit instead!
