Even more distraught, the young woman looked around with mildly panicked eyes, gaze landing on her aunt as the mother tilting back her head and laughed heartily. Knowing full well that she was the cause of this amusement, Nalda felt heat rise to her cheeks, muzzle ducking slightly as the queen came towards her. But Aponi’s good mood apparently extended to mercy, and she lowered her head to take back control of the wandering child. Nalda gave a quiet, but heavy, sigh of relief, meeting her Aunt’s icy gaze with a clear glow of gratitude in her golden ones. Perhaps she’d learn to handle the youngsters, it wasn’t like she actively disliked them or anything. She just had no idea what to do with them, so tiny and helpless. To her great embarrassment, the russet-eared youth had found that the puppies were the most intimidating thing she’d ever been confronted with, and it would take quite some time to get used to it. So as the others continued to adore the pups, Serach playing with the more lively girl while Aponi kept watch of her little visitor - Ayla - Nalda slowly withdrew, the hint of a smile on her features, despite it all.
