She'd been meaning to head out this way. Abaddon didn't really have much of a clue if the search for her friend (were they friends? She didn't actually know but nonetheless the girl had been ok in Abba's books) would prove fruitful but she'd rather look and know than not look and never know.
The female moved about when she pleased, not constricting herself to travel in the light or solely in the dark. Nights like tonight though she was cloaked in the darkness of the strange territory. The foliage was still thick as summer was slowly weaning itself away into fall. The moon above wasn't bright enough to shine down upon the lands and what light could get through was fickle. With clouds above the forest canopy, it'd be a wonder if someone saw her before they smelt or heard her. Although with how this area seemed too eerie she doubted her chance of running into other wolves was high right now.
Something broke her thoughts in the distance. It didn't sound heavy enough to be the creature she was looking for, though. Maybe it was a rat or rabbit trying to hide from her looming form. Probably smart on their end because she wouldn't say no to a late night snack.
