Neha was thankfully a lot more confident in her parenting choices than Draven ever would be. While he second guessed everything he did as a father she took to mothering naturally and this tiny setback did not phase her even in the least. Nodding silently in acceptance of her words he pressed his flank against hers as she sat beside him. This movement would have once set his heart ablaze but for now it felt comfortable, her had grown accustomed to her physical closeness. Smiling back at his son he chuckled as the pup went somersaulting over the squirrel, he might not be interested in eating it but at least the prey wasn’t going to waste. The small family would stay this way most of the afternoon before retiring to their den, from the outside looking in it was the picture of happiness.
