She lingered around the lakeshore as the sun gradually lowered through the sky. She debated on keeping her distance from the forest or pushing through her emotions in order to set things straight. What if this was all one big misunderstanding? What if she had managed to work herself up over something that wasn't true? Her chest rose before dipping down again as she weighed her options.
A sigh slipped right past her lips into the open air. Maybe a drink of the cool water would help her frazzled mind. Slowly her head lowered, wary of anyone who might be around because that's how she had gotten into this mess in the first place. She had simply wanted to take a break and then a child showed up and gave her information she didn't know how to digest. So very carefully she lapped at the water and quickly lifted her head. Droplets of the lake water dripping from her pale chin as blue eyes scanned the area. It seemed clear. For now at least.
The large female lowered herself onto her rear, content to attempt to ignore her own thoughts that whizzed about. Maybe trying to catch a glimpse of the sunset through the clouds would help.
