He had decided to stay in the Cove's borders for the day. The coyotes were pests and though he didn't want the rest of the pack to see his straggly appearance he needed a chance to relax. So that he wasn't always looking over his shoulder to see if one of the smaller canines had started to follow him. The rain earlier in the morning had also helped him make his decision but it had stopped now even if the clouds still looked like they were going to start up again at any minute.
Padding through the wet grass Solas made his way to the lake. He needed a drink and a reason to stretch his muscles. Once he reached the choppy shores he took a swift drink before he got splashed in the face. That done he stretched out his paws in front of him with a low groan. He shoulders were tight and the stretch made them ache more but he needed to try and loosen them up. Maybe someone would come along and distract him. He could only hope.
