Things were getting colder and colder, the young wolf couldn’t remember the last time it had been this freezing out. Except for yesterday, and the day before that had been pretty chilly. Though tonight was defiantly colder. He had noticed something else that was cool though, his fur was thickening like it knew exactly what was happening. A grin formed on the boy’s muzzle, with this thicker coat, it left him wondering if it’d do a better job at hiding his scent so that he’d finally be able to sneak up on @Vasilia without being detected.
He was wandering aimlessly through the Rye fields stalking anything he could find from bugs to mice. Catching them proved to be another story altogether. Wandering close to one of the ponds he paused when something vibrant and red caught his attention. Fiery orange eyes narrowed in suspicion and he crept to the water’s edge. He didn’t know what the floating fruit was but he did know one thing. He’d get erm and find out. A soft growl escaped his lips as one floated close by and he splashed his forepaws into the water and snapped at the apple. He yelped in surprise and stumbled backward, his soaked jowls dripping with icy water. He hadn't expected it to be that cold inside the water. Now that he had a moment to think he looked around, his tail lashing in frustration.
