Alvar stepped forward, his paws pressing down on the soft spring grass underneath as he walked, the tweeting of birds and barks of small rodents audible to him as he passed by tree after tree, bush after bush. It had been two weeks since he had taken to staying with Nia, and he couldn't say that he disliked it at all really. Though, it was clear to him that she wasn't very emotionally involved, nor was she used to wolves who were. He chuckled a little bit as he looked around, searching for the winter dame and her bright eyes. He'd grown quite fond of her lately, and hoped that she felt the same way.
He stopped at the base of a tree, and sniffed the air around him, catching the scents of herbs, flowers, soil, rodent droppings and not a trace of Nia. The agreement was that they would meet here, to mark the borders together, but it seemed that she was a bit late, or he was. He scowled a bit and sat down, his tail curling around his legs. He breathed in and let out a nice short howl. "Nia!" He called, knowing that she couldn't be too far off. He hoped that she hadn't run off again, he didn't want to have to find her a second time.
