Dead Empress Backwater tomorrow

It kind of felt nice to have a job. Xulia had been stuck in the same routine of patrolling day in and day out, so this was... really nice. It was even nice to not have to go on her own to do it, too. Sure, she hadn't ever really gotten to know Clover very well - or, most of the wolves outside her own family, actually - but maybe this was a good opportunity to do so.

Xulia had been looking for her for a little while now. For a solid white wolf, she was actually hard to track down. Her nose twitched as she tried to make out the scent of the little thing, a hum escaping her.

She huffed a little, giving up on her search and instead tilting her head back to call for the woman to see if she was ready to go.

After Viorel had asked her to accompany @Xulia on a type of scouting trip to the neighbouring pack, Clover had immediately begun thinking about what gifts she could bring them that they would be unable to get themselves easily. She knew of multiple important medicinal herbs that only grew in certain terrains, but some of them she had very little stock of herself, and was a little unwilling to give up too much in case she needed them to treat her own family. But, she felt it was important to share what little she had that they likely did not have, and decided she would have to make do with what little remained and stock up as much as she could once the seasons became favourable for them once again.

She eyed the bundle she had prepared full of Hellebore, Sweet grass, Yarrow, Wild ginger, Lavender hyssop, and even a few sprigs of Goldenrod that she had been lucky to find, knowing that they were the most important herbs that were unable to be found on the mountain that she had in stock to be able to gift them. As for the trip itself, on the way back she would try and find some Scrub pine and maybe even a bit of Wormwood if they were not opposed to her foraging around near their territory. Both were very useful but could only be found at higher altitudes, and she could only hope there was still some around before the season changed too much.

At Xulia's call she hurriedly picked up the bundle in her jaws and made her way over to the woman at a brisk pace. Clover wagged her tail happily at the sight of the much larger woman, letting out a muffled bark around the bundle in her jaws to let Xulia know she had arrived and was ready to get moving. They would have quite a distance to travel, and as they had yet to have much time to speak with one another one on one she was quite excited to get to know her.
