Sex: FemaleEnera was starting to get grumpy. She was thirsty more and more often, and they barely had any water at all in their territory. She was having to travel further and further to find a decent drink, and she worried about her mama. With her belly swelling with new children she couldn't wander as far. The young girl didn't like this new feeling. Her puppyhood had been all fun and games, playing with Marrah and Caelyn and Aweho, and occasionally being scared of Woya. She didn't seem so scary anymore though.
Then Aweho disappeared, and then things started to get tense. Mama didn't get along with anyone else anymore, and even Ad, who Enera had begun to think of as a dad, seemed part of the tension. Enera just wanted to get back to how things were. She didn't like being worried all the time, or feeling like she had to be careful. She wondered how much of her time with mama should would lose to her new little siblings, and she wondered how many new memories she would be able to make with them.
It all came down to how dry it was, which was why she and Marrah had convinced their leaders - and Enera's mama - to let them journey back to the mountain and see how their neighbors were faring. The rainy season - or distinct lack thereof - was giving Enera a headache, and she was sick of it.
