Torah Armstead

"A lady has places to be." She retorted, not bothering to look back at him this time. Instead, one dainty paw stepped in front of the other. She kept going for now. Her tail arched over her spine, her ears turned back towards him to listen, muzzle slightly pointed towards the sky. If Torah was one thing, that was full of herself, no doubt.

Well played. The woman slowed to a stop, turning to face him with her ears pressed forward. The smug look on his face was enough to make her skin tingle. He was too handsome for his own good, for her own good. "Perhaps, I could make time for that." The dame didn't make a move to close the distance this time. Instead, she waited to see if her plaything would approach her or not.

Artyom
A lady has places to be, she shot back. Yeah, right, he thought. But whatever her intentions were, they were not urgent enough to carry her away from the proposition of a hunt. Perhaps she could make time for that, she spoke.

And by extension, him. She had stopped, turned about even. But didn’t move to close the distance, however. Once more, Artyom could appreciate the dance for what it was, and he offered her the slightest of nods to convey that. He even enjoyed it. It was not at all what he’d anticipated of the woman.

His smile lingering, Artyom turned a little and started walking. Closer to the woman, in her general direction, but also diagonally away from her at the same time. He could compromise, but he wasn't going to stoop so low as to go crawling directly back to her. ”This way, then?” He inquired, with a tip of his nose towards the south and west. ”Pretty sure I remember a warren of rabbits not too far out that way. A couple of them would be a nice snack.”

Enough to keep them going in the near term.

Torah waited, intrigued, half of her expecting him to comply while the other half didn't. His nod was met with a cocky grin that she chose not to hide. He seemed the wiser to her taunts. Blue eyes danced with delight as the man began his approach, the corner of her lips tugging back into a smug smirk, then faltering. Touche

She followed his gesture with her gaze, a single ear flicking in annoyance. While she wanted to comply, she had reservations about following along like a good obedient woman. Her eyes narrowed at him as if to convey, I know what you're doing here. A sigh escaped dark lips, and begrudgingly, she stepped forward after the man. Giving in to his will if only but a little.
