All welcome!
Unlike the crunchy snow underfoot, the miles continuously melted beneath the tawny woman's paws yet she couldn't shake the feeling that she felt no closer to her destination. Where was she going exactly? The thought had Ruka twisting her ebony-lined ears back to press against her skull recalling the former home she had up and ditched when times were looking quite bleak. The person she had no doubts about had been hurt by her unspoken disappearance.
The woman's heavily placed sigh manifested itself in the form of a cloud of hot breath, visible for only a fleeting moment during the chill of the night before fading away unlike the array of brilliantly lit stars that studded the sky above. For a moment Ruka stole a glance at such unobstructed beauty, pondering if he too was looking at the same night sky with thoughts of her.
She doubted it.
