RE: Take cover! A snow squall has kicked up intense winds and blinding snow.
Winter seemed as if it would not go quietly. Snows swirled in the air, as much from above as blown up again from the ground until it seemed the world would be whited out of existence. The winds had kicked up so severely that Isomne had been driven toward the woods, seeking shelter. The woman squinted against the biting wind, just able to make out the darker shape of the trees as she waded through the deepening snow.
It was times like this she might question being a traveler, being alone, in winter. Would it have been better to go to the mountain passes, to seek out the pack there? She could not know, could not afford the distraction of such thoughts now as she pushed on through the belated blizzard.
