RE: SephrinaTuwile, you find a dead snake! Early afternoon, for Vayko only please!
To say he was enthralled was quite the understatement. Tuwile lay on his stomach, chin resting on outstretched forelegs, now orange eyes gazing intensely at the unmoving snake. It was out in the open, having apparently dropped dead in the middle of slithering from one cluster of grass to another.
He snuffled softly, his exhale causing some dust to blow up into the air. It didn't smell dead, not yet anyway, but there was a distinct reptilian odour in the air.
Reaching out almost reverently with an oversized white paw, Tuwile gently touched the snake's head, paw pads brushing over the smoothness of its scaled skin. He had never had a chance to actually touch a snake before, given that they always slithered away before he could get close. It was far smoother than he had been expecting, and his lisp curled up in a grin.
Today was a good day.
