Sloane Thorben
Sloane took it all in. The girl's actions, Nina's reactions and he had high hopes that this would turn out well for everyone involved. Azariah seemed fairly mature and she had at least some semblance of training to give additional help the Nina and her student. When Nina caught the look of concern on Azariah's face, she looked surprised and then a bit cautious. That passed and she then moved forward to assert her dominance over the golden girl. For he part, she submitted well and even kept her lowered posture with a quick glance at him, before she lowered her sea blue eyes.

When Nina had satisfied herself of the girl's acceptance and devotion, he stepped forward himself, towering over the slight fae. He too lowered his muzzle carefully and she tipped hers up obligingly for him. Given their size discrepancies, he could put half her head in his large muzzle, so he took care to gently, but firmly grasp only her muzzle in his own. After holding her in complete stillness for a few moments, he released her and stepped back silently, giving Nina the chance to say the words and officially add another member to their fledgling pack.

Nina Hervok

She was satisfied with the new member before her, though she wasn’t exactly sure how the female just staying for winter would turn out. Her heart and mind was telling her it would have been cruel to refuse the girl a home, especially during the winter. And Nina was sure that Sloane understood that. Her tail swayed behind her, showing that she was in a much better mood than she may have looked. The healer watched as Sloane came over to accept the female as theirs. She would now be tied into Secret Woodlands pack. Her own trust and devotion would have to be earned and noticed. Nina expected nothing less.

Before they started anything else, she smiled warmly at the female, the first sign of emotion that would cross upon her features as they stood there. Kindness… Her features were plain and she was happy…sort of. The shadow of information on her mate still hung heavily on her shoulders. Hopefully…soon he would be found and Nina would be able to try and make him remember. Being a healer, it was one of the things she specialized in, head traumas…hopefully the damage would not be permanent.

When Sloane stepped away from Azariah, the golden women lifted her head a spoke, "Welcome to the family. When we get back from the hunt, I will be sure to show you around." She gave a pointed look to Sloane. It wasn’t completely obvious that he had been tracking, but the slight whispering scent of prey on him. It wasn’t obvious, but if one would concentrate hard enough, they could smell the small scent on him. Her head then turned, ready to call for the rest of the pack.

It seems when you're around, my life is complete.
