Burning pain seered across his already tender head. The cracking of their skulls made him feel instantly sick and stopped whatever moved he had tried to calculate next. A wave of nausea rushed over him and had him shivering all over as he tried to keep down whatever little food he might of had in his stomach. Fucking hell, his head was going through the motions lately. He was surprised it was still attached some days.
Somewhat stunned, he pulled back to allow himself time to clear the pain and the sicky feeling that had settled in the pit of his stomach. It was only when he had taken a step back, to really assess the situation he noticed Valiant standing before him, and not looking to fucking please. Oh shit- what had he done now?

He stood there in silence as Valiant shouted, his brain scrambling to pull all of the pieces together. His female, his kids. Shit, his family. How had he forgotten them all? What the hell had happened? He had no time to waste, he would have to relive the past few months another time, all that mattered at that moment in time was his family. He had to go home. "Valiant..." he said, the clarity evident on his face and in his words as he stepped closer to his only true friend. "Tell me everything..." he commanded, though not without first reaching forward to plant his nose against the hind of the silver wolf who was leaving- a rare sign of affection, but one he felt he needed to bestow upon his friend who had been the only wolf dumb enough to knock his life back into him. The silver buffoon had done it again- he had saved Rhysis and he would forever be in his debt. There was no time to waste though, he needed to know everything and time was of the essence; his family were out there, hopefully waiting for him, and he would not let them wait any longer.
