Rosealia Slayer
Her eyes traveled the sky carefully, searching for the mountains. And that exact peak that she just crossed over to get here. She felt sort of unsafe wandering around on her own, but Rose knew that she could handle herself now. Shade had given her enough battle training, and it felt good to finally be free of the chains that were travel and Willow Ridge. Her lithe body, well oiled and slick, moved down to the creek. She stood on the bank and took a long, slow sip. She made sure to keep her tan ears perked in case of danger. She was finnicky like a doe. Just a doe, not yet a mother.

Oddly, Rose doubted she would have a very good sense of maternal instinct-if any at all. After all, she never really had a mother to stand beside her or to guide her. It was bothersome to her heart sometimes, but she learned to get over it. Part of the reason was her wonderful and supportive best friend and mate, Shade Slayer. Anyways, these problems would come when they needed to be addressed. Steadily, the woman rose her head and glared at the environment before her. She scented the air and noticed a sharp movement from the corner of her yellow orbs. She would know it anywhere. Her stomach grumbled and she impatiently licked her chops.

Rosealia refrained from making any brisk and alarming movements. Silently, she crept around the edge of the water and towards the brush and cat-tails were the rabbit had been bounding around in. She lowered herself so low to the grassy floor that you could swear that she was an over-sized snake. Amber eyes shimmering in the morning light but limited by the shade from the tall thicket, she waited for any signs from her prey.

WILLOW RIDGE FOREVAH!

Silver eyes scanned the tall grass. Oat colored ears were pricked up for any sound. A lithe golden body stalked silently. Rowanberry. The hunter. The preditor. The silent killer. She felt a small prick of remorse for her prey. She thought about a tiny life, bleeding away under her claws. She shook this thought away. 'I kill to feed myself' she said to her conciousness. She reached the familiar creek. Rowan had been here for several days now. Her den was here, and she was thinking of joining a pack. The winter in the wilds was no joke. There was a good way before it ended. She scanned the sky, almost expecting snowflakes to float down on her. There was none. Bright skies littered with clouds beamed down on her.

Suddenly, a scent caught her attention. All thoughts vanished immediately. She swiveled around, tracking down the scent. 'rabbit', all her scenses told her. Sheer instinct pulled her forward through the bracken. Against the bright snow and the dried stalks, one could see her as a golden shadow. She stopped briefly, relocating the scent. ' a motionless bunny is a invisible bunny,' she thought. Stooping down low,she crept the the soft snow. She followed it up to the river. Trying to see through the reeds, she watched for signs of life in there. Once or twice she caught an amber glint on the other side, but I might have been just sunlight. Maybe a weak scent might of floated up to her, but she ignored it.

OOC:sorry for this short and horrible post! I'm gonna have them hunting the same prey if you don't mind ;)
