<3 I am SO GLAD we're roleplaying together again, I missed you!

He stiffened in response to her volatile snap and bristled. She had hoped he might simply side-step and leave- she didn't want an apology or anything from him now. Not that she wanted a fight, either. When the brutish male snarled at her she sneered back, a venomous growl, much higher than his own, thrumming past her ebony lips. Her black ears flattened against her head rather than pricking up- a dead indication of the fact that she wasn't going to challenge him, but was merely asserting that she didn't want him acting like a jackass. But it certainly looked as though he was incapable of doing so.

She lunged toward him again but stopped just short with another vicious snap of her jaws- before she high-tailed it back a few steps. Just a bluff charge, but one to show that she wasn't interested in his bullshit or in a real fight. Her tail raised over her back but rather than standing tall and straight it curled to symbolize a draw- not a surrender, but a refusal to fight. She calmly stepped back a few paces and watched him to see if he'd just let her wander off, now that she'd made it perfectly clear that she wanted to be on her own.

I missed RPing with youu! <33 You have no idea how excited I am that you came to RoW!

She was a spitfire, of that he was certain. Yet what he didn’t understand, is how such a small creature had survived on her own so far with such a personality. Of course, it never did occur to the beast that it was his presence that brought out the worst of her, and as her snarl rippled higher than his own, his lips pulled back even further in warning.

Her body language implied everything to him, and yet despite her outward wishes of not wishing to fight, the lunge she brought toward him caused the male to stiffen slightly, his own figure leaping forward to meet at her. His jaws would snap the air, but they would fall upon nothing, as the girl darted back as swiftly as she had leapt forward – if she did not want a fight she was doing a poor job at showing such. Hackles bristling, the Ridge male took another step toward her, his eyes fiercely locked to her as his muzzle swung lower to protect his throat. His own tail lifted high in dominance, waiting for her to trial him once more in a fake charge. He would show her how dangerous those could be.

He did not follow her as she moved back a few paces – if she wanted to leave, he would not stop her. His patience was growing far too thin.

He'd been significantly truant enough about his duty to help her hunt, after parading across the meadow that she felt her anger was rational. She heard the click of his teeth as he too made a charge, but she'd been nimble-footed enough to get out of the way before his teeth could rake her skin. Fortunately for her, he did not decide to charge again after she'd drawn back from the minor scuffle, and she took that moment to ensure that he wouldn't hurt her. After giving him a scathing look and a gruff grunt, she wheeled and took off, blitzing through the thicket like a silver arrow.

The man was a pain and a half- her stomach was empty and his ignorance had only made her even more hangry. She'd wasted enough time on him already and left him behind, hoping he felt sufficiently proud of himself for being a total jackass.

Both settled with the fact that a fight would not truly break out, and as he stood, regarding her with cold and calculating eyes, the she-wolf decided then to take her leave rather than attempt to charge at him again. He watched her silver figure slip away, the slender form possibly so from her hunger. Had she been amicable enough, he would have aided her in a hunt as he had at first offered, but the turn out and strayed far from good intentions and Phineas emitted a derisive snort as she disappeared from sight and mind.

Giving his pelt a shake to ward off his anger, the male twisted his large figure in the direction of home, his paws moving nimbly. He doubted he would ever see the she-wolf again, though such a thought came as a blessing. Whether she starve to death or thrive with her prowess was none of his concern, and he did not take responsibility for a lone wolf. His pack was and always would be his first priority.
