Jessie Tainn

Jessie truly was glad t hear that Fenru seemed to understand her reasoning and immediately jumped into what she had said…pretty much in the literal sense. Instead of focusing on her own way to catch a snack though, she was quite interested in watching how he was doing. The man seemed a little skittish at first but it seemed as though his nerves finally calmed down and he was able to stand still for a little while. Jessie had not fished where he was standing at yet and had no clue that he was standing on a bunch of plants. She watched in amusement, impressed that his patience was winning out on him right now. As if her thoughts promoted him more encouragement, she saw the quick flash of the male and was beyond amazed when a catfish flicked out of the water, sparkling a little while as it got caught in the sun before it flopped back into Fenru’s mouth. The victory was short lived though because the fish soon plopped back in the water, just as the Huntress had warned. She did not make any move to help at the younger man dove after the finned creature. She almost had the decency to tell him to be careful….but she did not.

Again, the catfish came flying into the air a while away from her before flopping back into the water after hitting the Tainn in the face. The gallant man was soon after the catfish yet again, but what he brought up with him this time struck a hold string within her heart. Jaw dropping, she quickly pushed her way towards the male, but he too seemed to realize that the think that was in his mouth definitely was not a fish. Quickly, he dropped it and scrambled out of the water, Jessie following close behind. When she got near him, she did a once over of him, making sure he did not get bitten, but just making sure she asked evenly, "Are you alright? You didn’t get bitten, did you?" A frown was on her lips now, their fun time now forgotten. What if that snake had been poisonous and it had bitten Fenru? For all she knew no wolves within Oak Tree Bend had any healing abilities of any sort and no knowledge of herbal remedies for such a thing. Hopefully all was okay though and Jess would have nothing too serious to worry about.
