I woke up without a single drop

Tacoma watched as his brother moved away from him, without even an answer. His head craned to the side, never taking his eyes off of his brother's darker pelt. The dark mass padded back around in a circle, finally making it's way back to stand in front of him. Ashton's word's sent the eldest cub's mind turning. Going over the facts, Tacoma didn't see it as a likelihood. After all, the pup had ran from them in fear. Would he have come back, or stopped to get to know someone if they chased him around like that? Probably not. "I dun thin' so." Biting his lower lip he added "'Least not right now." He hoped that his answer would suffice, as he didn't want his brother to disapprove of it.

Giving his brother a nod, feeling a shiver run up his spine at the thought of seeing their mother mad. If he was certain of anything, it was that she could be absolutely terrifying if she wanted to, and so he put his head down, ready to follow his brother back home. Unfortunately he couldn't stop thinking about the cub they had let get away. Was he on his way home, to a mother who loved him? Did he even have a mother, or would he be alone? The possibility scared him, but there was nothing he could do now He had to resolve that the next time he met the stranger he would be much more welcoming, if he was even capable of it. Although he'd rather not make the first move.
