He had her. She was right where he wanted her, far from the clutches of Magnolia Glen wolves. He had crossed the distance from one forest to another and out the other end until once more he was reaching the edges of the home land for which he had been turned away from. For which he had been rejected. At another time, perhaps Hypatia's faith in him would have been well off. Perhaps he could have been her guide, her guardian. Now, even without her knowledge, he was her captor. Locked away within the Umbra Corpse, sealed off in a small hollow, he would insure that her family and pack would never see the likes of her daughter again should they note adhere to his terms. Now again he toes on the borders of the Glen, dangerously close this time, with his body held high and arrogant promise, though his tail a delicate and comfortable stay at his backside as it slumped. He called out for one wolf and one wolf only - Phineas, who had rejected him some time ago.
