Temporary residents had not been welcomed in the past although, with a winter so harsh she would be a fool to turn the girl away. Far from the number of pups to feed waning, it had increased, from two, to three and now four. She would take whatever help she could get. “There are children to watch, and teach what we can - the boys are not my own, but they both show promise... @Mercy seems to be intent on proving himself as a hunter, and @Karpos seems to have taken a glean to guardianship... the girls...” a small sigh left her mouth then as her head began to ache at the prospect. “@Nova, perhaps could take a glean to herb lore, were there anything to teach her under all this snow... @Aponi...” She simply let her voice trail off as the tiniest movement of white against the pristine backdrop caught her attention.
Momentarily it crossed her mind that she did not know this woman’s name yet, and still she brushed against the black wolf, avoiding her silver eyes and pushing down the niggling thought that perhaps this was another Aquila trying to weasel their way into her pack. She was confident she could handle any drama this woman might bring if she was. After all, for now her intentions seemed innocent enough for now.
Formality over with, the large wolf crouched, her eyes locked on the rabbit ahead. With the stranger now under the protection of her pack, food was her only priority.
