Sex: MalePadding towards their den, Dziban's pale gaze swept over the landscape. Whisper Caverns sure had it's charm. Beautiful rolling hills, against a blue backdrop. Green as far as the eye could see, complete with wildflowers complementing every nook and cranny. It may not have been the outcome they had wished for, but a good deal no less. Ash's kindness would give them time to do this right; To start a pack built for their every need, and most importantly, for @Rory. He would leave her a legacy, if nothing else. Were something to happen to Athena or himself, he needed to be sure of not only her survival, but her happiness as well. The first step in that was recruiting good strong wolves, with even kinder hearts. Of course, he would not take any from the Cavern wolves, he had his respect after all. No, they would be wolves loyal to his family alone.
Each day their cub grew stronger, gaining the beauty and grace of her mother. It was fascinating to watch the girl, as she began to understand more of the world around her, but troubling as well. It seemed, at six weeks old, her vocabulary had yet to blossom. She was quiet, observant, already possessing much of the body language you would expect a cub of her age to retain. Yet, her mouth had yet to catch up. He wondered if @Athena Athena had noticed. With duties to be upheld, and a cub to raise, it seemed they had less time to spend together. Making it a point to talk to her soon, the male kept on, eying the den.
Each day was running together in a blur. Every morning, she'd wake, feed Rory, and then move out to do her daily border patrols and duties for the day. Dziban would stay close to the den with their daughter until mid-day, where'd they'd switch and she'd watch Aurora while Dzi went out and did his duties until sundown. By the time he got back to their den, he'd be too exhausted to talk much and they'd all just fall asleep together and repeat the cycle again the next day. Her life was getting to exhausting to keep up, but this is what she had to do. She didn't have the luxury of being leader and being able to pick her own hours. Athena was a subordinate once again and a working mother at the same time.
With her time being less spent with Dziban, she was worried they were growing apart. However, as Athena woke up from her light nap with Rory, she could sense his presence outside the den. Slowly rising to not disturb her daughter, her fiery eyes searched for her mate as she exited the den. His green eyes were gazing out at something out in the distance. As she came up besides him, her muzzle lovingly glided across his body until she was parallel with him. "My love," she purred before lightly licking his check and turned to gaze out in the distance with him and let the light silence fall around them.
