Why wasn't she allowed to be brave and do brave wolf things? Well, maybe that was a silly thing to ponder. Obviously it was because she simply couldn't muster up the courage to climb onto the wood, and risk drowning if she fell, or being eaten alive by beavers if they didn't like her climbing on their home. She wouldn't like it either. What reason did she have to eat a beaver, anyway? They weren't even good for hunting, at least not in her opinion. As the near-spring sun shined down on her, she let out a frustrated, high-pitched bark, which evoked more laughter from the cat upon his throne.<b style="color:#388d10">"speech."

Aisling Halleck
Aisling was used to the bushes of berries, and the trees of pink flowers, but was it odd that the young-at-heart female had never once seen a beaver dam? She could hear sounds beneath the thick wooden shell, and it was what kept her away from it. She knew what a beaver was, of course, but she'd never actually seen where they'd lived. It was...scary. But it was also like a bridge. Her paws itched to climb upon it like Pangur was doing. He was so brave. But she simply couldn't risk it. The pale feline curled his tail around his paws, and stared down at her with the most prideful look he could bear. "Scary beavers...Deep water. I never did teach you to swim, deary." Aisling pouted, and sat down in the grass along the bank, trying to ignore the hissing laughter of her best friend.
