Though Kauda could be quite crazy at times, she had no mind to suddenly jump in, fish, swim, or automatically love the water. It was still something she didn't like it and wouldn't ever like it, regardless of what the other said or thought. As she stared into it, flashbacks of Kanaii disappearing in the clear blue depths flickered inside her head. Her gentle grin curved back down into a frown as her eyes fell closed and she turned away, instead choosing to sit a few feet from the water. |
Unmoving his long legs, a soft humor touched around the wrinkles of his eyes when she couldn't stay still. Triell thought he was a pup with things to learn. Letting out a soft sigh, he smiled more openly this time. "Those are fish, and they taste alright. There bones are nasty, but it's not hard to pull the meat off," he replied. Trying to be friendly after all. Orange eyes shifted along the falling ripples, looking into the deep water as the fish settled. He looked a mere shadow to them, it'd only be time till one drifted his way. "So Kauda do you know what a frog is?" He asked, taking on a quiet tone as well. He still was trying to fish here, but he was feeling a bit of a break threw this odd meeting. Eyes met her cool blue ones, "If I can catch one I'll let you try some." Black tail, moved very slightly. The fish very slowly started coming closer to his end of the pool.
Kauda's eyes followed the fishes every move. Awe struck her as they whirled around and opened their mouths in wide Os. "Are they always this fast and energetic? They look hard to catch." she murmured, the last part was half to herself. She realized though that she already had a question floating in the air and kept her mouth shut long enough to hear the answer. |
He took the quiet moment for his oppertunity. The fish had glided all around him now, unknowning their new hiding spot would be the death of one of them. He waited a little longer, muscles tense. He had to time this right, and he wanted a good sized one. Slowly one brushed along his front legs, and he struck like a snake. His fangs dung into it's flesh, and it wipped it's tail against his lips. He dug hard enough blood started entering his mouth, squirting out of the fish. Tail wagging he trotted out of the water not carring if he spalshed Kauda. The fish was still squirming, it was four times the size of his own snout. He held tight letting it suffocate, which took awhile. It was worth the wait, and the fish had no more umph to wiggle. It's gills flapped, and eyes moved dying. The black lad released his grip round the middle and bit into it's neck letting it die faster. The most careful he had been he started biting into it. He tore off a chunk for Kauda to and set it to the side. "Here you try some, don't choke on the bones," he grinned. He started ripping flesh from bone.
