Kova Lagina
Yep, hell get it on its back and she can deliver the final blow. That should be all we need after that. I'll do a fade if you want.

The fish struggled against the pair of wolves throwing great waves of icy cold water across the snow banks. An onlooker might have seen the tug of war as a titanic battle between the hunters of the land and the monster of the deep.  It was truly a scene worthy of the background music to Pirates of the Caribbean.

Kova continues to push at the fish with his chest and paws feeling giddy that they were actually slowly but surely budging it more and more onto the snow.  Huffing in the musky scent of fish almost made Kova dizzy as the animal finally rolled onto the frost covered earth. His sides were heaving for breath while the fish suddenly stilled. It was storing energy for the next round of thrashing fits, and if the wolves didn't kill it soon the creature could flop around back into the water again. Kova stumbles onto the bank shivering as cold water drips from his warm body. The youth eyeballs the fish as the creature gasps for air on the snow bank and then starts flopping around in the snow. Laughing for no reason. Kova moves to help keep the fish still again. He drapes his body over the front end of the creature for a minute or two as the creature wiggles about underneath him like a bull at the rodeo.

It was no secret that Kova was getting tired. He was after all a child still, plus he was rather skinny from lack of food. Knowing that they had to kill the thing soon, Kova stepped back from the flopping fish and struggled against its scales trying to roll the sturgeon onto its back. It took Kova another few minutes to do this with a ton of help from Hexamora. The fish slipped onto its side then was forced onto its back by the wolves where Kova again draped himself over the animal to keep it from rolling back right side up.  “GET AT ITS BELLY ALREADY!” the young wolf snarled before biting at the sturgeons whiskery face. The sensation of its sucking mouth against his cheek was more than enough to freak out Kova into repeatedly biting at its eyes and gills.

Hexamora Beauvau

It would seem that all the pair of wolves could smell anymore was the pungent odor of fish. Hexamora's nostrils filled to the brim with the musky scent and it took quite an amount of mental prowess to keep from burying her head in the snow like an ostrich to escape the strong perfume as it clung to her whiskers and fur. But non the less she pushed through it knowing soon this fight would be over and food would be waiting for them in the winners circle. A trophy that, for once, she wouldn't mind sharing with another.

Tongue pressed against the slick coated scales in a futile attempt to pant out her growing exhaustion, only daring to finally release her hold once an acceptable distance separated fish from water. The silver lad filling the air with the absurd sound of laughter as he eyed the now motionless fish while she took a spare moment to catch her breath. A four and a half foot long sturgeon wasn't the easiest thing to drag onto land and being half starved it took more energy than she cared to admit to having.  Suddenly, though, the fish was on for another round. A low growl emitted from her inky lips as both Kova and Hex seemed to trade position. The young pup pulling at the fish to try and force it belly up. The older woman quickly charging from below to push with what little strength remained in her limbs. Finally, after minutes of more struggling on both ends, they managed to get the creature onto its back. Vital belly exposed and ready for the kill.

“GET AT ITS BELLY ALREADY!” Kova snarled at her. A warning flash of her teeth to the kid informing him to not get testy with her. "ALRIGHT! ALRIGHT!" Exhaustion bringing out the worst in her again, but knowing he was right she obliged. Parting jaws and with a lighting quick motion her teeth sank into the tender underbelly, tearing off chunks of delicious meat until a quiet snap reverberated in her mouth. The snapping of the spinal chord. It was over. The fight was finally over. Removing her head with a hearty growl of triumph, blood trickled slowly from the mortal wound she had left behind as he tail wagged gleefully behind her. Mismatched gaze searching for that of Kova's to express silently her gratitude that exhaustion refused her lips to say. They had done it.

Kova Lagina

He noted Primrose's frustrated voice but was too busy with the freaking tank to care about her flash of teeth. Tiredness pulled at his limbs making them ache as Kova watched the scene before him.His jaws were still latched onto the creatures head while he held it down as best he could. The fish struggled as pieces of it were flung away from its body by the white she wolf's sharp teeth. She dug into the fish's flesh until her own head was more than a quarter of the way delved into sturgeon body then crunched on the animals spinal cord. Kova felt the fish go limp as he held it down then sighed happily allowing his tail to wag.

It was over. FINALLY... He let his body also go limb not even taking the time to move himself over the snow. Instead he just plopped down on top of the fish and let his muscles relax. His head lay on the giant left fin of the creature as the ivory female growled in triumph and lifted her head out of the dead fish. When her tail wagged he lifted up his head a bit and grinned madly making his tail wag a bit harder at the same time. “Niiiice one.” He complimented tiredly before laying his head back down on the fish. “Mom probably wouldn't like me laying on my food... ugh..” He said before pushing against the fish and rolling over with it. The fish spines stopped the fish form rolling any farther, but Kova wound up rolling twice before stopping on his back and just laying there like a zombie staring up at the sky.

Snow covered his coat but it wasn't that cold feeling to him. It was where the water had drenched his legs that the cold had settled into his bones. The wolf began to shiver which forced him to move. The boy sit up and began licking his coat clean and dry. In the areas where water soaked him the young lost prince licked his fur backwards to help ruffle up the slick area. He turned to see Primrose settling down to do much of the same thing. Though her nose was wrinkled against the musky odor of fish that still clung to them. He giggled a bit at the sight of her before returning to his own grooming session. Once his fur was relatively dry and beginning to warm up again, Kova let his head fall back to the ground. He curled up into a ball as tightly as he could and began to nap unworried about predators around them that might want to eat some of their fish. Right now he just needed to rest.
