It seemed that all his wiggling was beginning to pay off! His sibling gave some disgruntled growls as she tried to keep a hold of the wriggling silver boy, but even she couldn’t do that. Finally, he was able to break free of her hold and even managed to roll himself unsteadily to his paws. However, his fiend of a sister was faster than even he and was on top of his in a second. Her teeth were on his scruff, making him want to instinctually tuck his legs as that was the way their mother carried them from place to place. Marianna was not their mother though, so he refrained and instead tried to rear onto his hind legs bucking like a horse and wriggling again. If any were watching, the boy could be given the nickname the willy worm! His attempts were fruitful as he grip was loosened them dropped all together and this time he got the right mindset to bolt as soon as he felt her weight give way. He spun clumsily around, bracing himself for her body to crash into his but no such thing happened. Instead, she stood a ways away from his breathing heavily. His own breathes had come in pants, his energy waning as the moon. Her gaze drifted from him to the dark entrance to the den and he knew that their energy they had gained from their brief sleep had been spent.
He moved forward to his sibling, bumping into her and giving her a gentle nip to the muzzle almost like a kiss. This was a peace treaty until the next time, and he was sure to nudge her toward the entrance to be sure she got the right idea before following along. Once there he would collapsed back alongside his mother and brother, curling to be welcomed by the physical activity warmed body of his only known sister. He allowed his head to drape across her back before he allowed his small jaws to gape in a yawn, a squeak like noise coming out before his mouth closed along with his eyes. Late night playtime had been fun, but now he supposed that dreaming would be an even bigger adventure.
