Kanaii Kokki
OOC: Haha. Kanaii swimming should be interesting. xD

Lurking quietly around the outskirts of Cedarwood Forest. There, it was so peaceful, so.. quiet. Right now, with his pounding headache, that was all he wanted - silence. However, no matter how horrible the headache, he was never the one to vociferate, so as long as he was alone he should be fine with silence and he could definitely keep himself from crying or bawling.

It was when his ears picked up the sound of a soft babble of a creek. Wooooonnderful. thought Kanaii to himself, sarcasm heavy in his thoughts. Ever since that fateful day... Things had never been the same when he was sipping from a stream with Kauda and her friend, Akita Dashameer. He had been reaching down to let his tongue slide out and sweep up water into his mouth, but his paws had slipped on the dull grey rocks. He remembered making a massive plop as he fell into the water, though he hadn't let out any sounds, as he was swept under the water in the current. With much, much work, he had made it out alive. Sort of. He'd never been the same. Words became scarcer and scarcer until, today, hardly any words at all were spoken.

Kanaii kept walking though, lowering his pounding head. After many more pointless steps, Kanaii emerged from thick green undergrowth and the creek flowed a few yards in front of him. Looks like I'm crossing this thing one way or another. he thought bitterly. Ever since that day, the day he nearly stared death in the face, he had feared water. However, today he had to cross the river. Hesitantly, he took a few steps forward. He had to show no fear.

Aisling Halleck
The creek was so peaceful to listen to. She certainly needed something to fill her ears, to distract her when Kiche wasn't around. Pangur had been silent for the past few days, only speaking when he had something snide and cruel to say. Which was actually what he usually did anyway, she began to realize, but now it was just less often, really. Aisling knew what she'd done, but the only way to right it would be to tell Kiche the truth, and just thinking about it made Aisling's heart hurt more than the cold shoulder Pangur had pressed against her.

Her nose was just against the surface of the water, causing it to ripple every time she exhaled, and her eyes were closed, trying desperately to drown out the nothingness, minus Pangur's breathing, in her head. She felt a little bad. But she could only hope that he'd get over it. He would, and then everyone would be happy. Her tail gave a slight wag, adding to the soundtrack of the creek. And then there was something else. Something not far away from her. One ear twisted, and she lifted her head, her orange eyes observing a wolf about to cross the creek. <b style="color:#388d10">"Hello!" Aisling called out, smiling, and her tail beat against the damp grass. <b style="color:#388d10">"speech."
