Whisper Marsh home is where the heart is

For a split second, the tawny wolf took a moment to truly look at the she-wolf before him. She bowed her head quietly, as if defeated, and the male’s stoical expression broke as his brows lifted lightly. Her agreement did little to convince him that she was sure of her decision, yet at this very moment, he was far from caring. She lifted herself more regally now, and as her words fell past her lips, Ruiko released a low growl of dominance. He stalked toward the ivory female, though while his presence was intimidating; his touch was excessively gentle as his muzzle bumped to her cheek. His scent was rubbed on to her, and lifting his muzzle up once more, the male gingerly clamped her delicate snout in to his jaws. She was his now; a mateship that was wanted by neither, but placed in order to gain a life they both desired.

The growl leaking from the wolfs muzzle made her tempted to back away, but she held her ground, amber eyes meeting the gold of the large male before her. The gentle touch of his nose shifted into the fur of her cheek before his jaws closed around hers. She remained quiet - frozen so she didn't injure herself on his teeth.. or injure him by needless jerking about. It was odd, to know their...plots were coming to a head - plots that were a windfall of sorts for both canines involved. But..perhaps she had a chance to get what she truly desired...a family, a stable place for Raigo.

Vlarindara stilled with his touch, and as he pulled his muzzle away from his regal claiming grasp from her, Ruiko released a low growl of pride before placing a tender kiss to her pale muzzle as well; love and caring was far from the picture for either of them, but he would be damned if he would hurt the she-wolf who had just become his Queen. A brutal wolf that took what he wanted when he wanted it, the Tainn vowed quietly to himself that with this new found alliance, he would do what he could to at least make her content. “Go to your old home then,” he suggested, his cinnamon tail giving a swing. “Do what you need to do to prepare for your new life. I won’t be far.” His deep voice was rough, but there was a gentler vibe to his words now. Little did either of them know that this new life-changing decision would come to a halt as Ruiko’s responsibilities and duties would be shifted. With that, the male swept past his companion, brushing his large figure against hers before sweeping off to the distance, his own intentions being to find Kinis.
