Sacred Grove Embarking

Kajika felt pride at the look Vespertio gave him when Moonshadow had explained to his alpha’s the influence for her wanting to join Fallen Tree Cove. He finally was starting to feel as though he was fulfilling the promise he’d made to Namid when he joined the pack. The nerves Kajika had felt before were starting to dissipate as he became surer that Moonshadow would be accepted into the pack. He would then be able to help her to become the kind of pack wolf he had the impression she wanted to be.

The dark male was also very proud of the young female for her very mature response and behavior in front of Namid and Vespertio. She was off to a good start and as long as she tried her best he was sure that she would fit it, he had no doubt that she would make it in the pack. A smile crossed his lips When Namid and Vespertio announced that she was welcome into the pack, “Congratulations,” he stated, “And welcome to the pack.” He was glad that he would now have the chance to help her with the things that he’d promised to help her with. “I’ll show you where you can sleep tonight and then I can show you around tomorrow,” he said as he crossed the border into their packs territory.

Holding her breath she awaited the crucial answer that would determine her fate. Her worries were whisked away instantly when Namid and Vespertio accepted her into their pack. The dark yearling couldn’t help having a giant grin spread across her face and having her tail begin to wag wildly behind her. Vespertio strode towards her, taking her muzzle in his as a formal declaration of dominance and acceptance. Moonshadow remembers her parents using this method with members of their pack. She was able to control her excitement, holding completely still while her new alpha held her muzzle.
 
When he released her she was no longer able to contain her excitement. “Thank you thank you thank you!!!” she exclaimed, whole body wiggling; she was unable to hide her youth in her reaction. The yearling licked the underside of Vespertio’s regal muzzle submissively before doing the same to Namid. Moving back to Kajika’s side she beamed at his congratulations. Taking a deep breath she looks back at her new alphas giving them a nod and smile. “Thank you again for accepting me into your pack”.
 
Kajika states that he’ll show her where she can spend the night and show her around tomorrow. Moonshadow hadn’t realized how late it was or how tired she was. It had been an eventful day. “That sounds nice” she replied to the dark male next to her. With one more bow to Vespertio and Namid she followed Kajika keeping close to his flank in to her new home.

Releasing the swarthy muzzle from between his jaws, Vespertio took a step back with a lighthearted chuckle at the sudden explosion of energy bursting from Moondshadow's seems, accepting the submissive licks to the underside of his chin. A stream of repetitive thank yous fell off a coral tongue while her entire embodiment seemed to undergo a seizure from nose to tail tip. "It is us who should be thanking you for helping to expand our family." Rising a charcoal dusted banner to wag in the wake of the energy flowing like a river between those gathered, rust tinged audits perked when Kajika spoke up, offering to assist the newest subordinate toward the communal den for a good nights rest.

At this a tawny skull angled skyward to catch the first pin pricks of the night sky's stars poking through the fading sunset with a pair of molten gold irises. It had not dawned upon the man just how late the day had become, his gaze cast easily to the pale features of his wife as the duo of swarthy wolves made their departure while removing an unseen weight from the brute's shoulders. They would be okay. A smile lifted the corner of the patriarch's lips once his gaze met that of Namid's, the tip of his nose nudging the plush fur of her cheek. "Come, my love. We should check on the pups before sleep." Offering a soft nibble to her cheek, creamy limbs turned to begin the trek back to the heart of their territory.
