Inactive No Rank
Lachesis "XIX" Stark
backdated to august 15. @Kisla & @Kjors
left it vague at the end, so you could either have kisla already with him at the border, or perhaps she’s brining kjors/following him :D <3

A week had passed since his meeting with the green-eyed sparrow. She had not been pleased to learn that Kjors was after Lachesis’ rank — especially so soon after they had lost two of their own. XIX would have been lying if he said the challenge came as a surprise; the healer had been worried about his position in Hearthwood since Kjors had been accepted into their ranks and challenged Karpos.

Clearly, the one-eyed wolf had no respect for the wolves of Hearthwood. They had lost two of their founding members within weeks of each other; it was a large wound that was going to take some time to heal completely. Unlike Lachesis’ injuries from the challenge — both his cheek and leg were nearly back to normal.

Like the Baranski had said during their meeting, Kjors had no respect for the river wolves. He took advantage of their grieving and, despite his role as Kisla’s advisor, he had not sought out the sparrow after the death of her mate. It had seemed peculiar at the time, but now the pieces were starting to come together. Lachesis was thankful that he no longer had to hide his feelings about the dragon — and that Kisla was now on the same page.

They had waited long enough — the threat was to be eliminated before it became worse. XIX did not want to give Kjors an opportunity to challenge his rank a second time… there would be no second time. He was to be removed from the pack. Ideally, they wanted the removal to go over smoothly. With both Kisla and Lachesis present, the healer hoped that there would not be a fight. Things would not end well for the dragon if he decided to oppose their decision.

With his tail curled high above his spine, the ghost stood at the edge of Hearthwood as he called for the one-eyed wolf. It was time for the knight to vanquish the dragon.

Kisla Baranski

It had taken a week, despite the tawny woman’s wish to remove the wolf from their ranks as soon as possible. Orren was gone – Lekalta, as well. Their ranks were thinning, but even if Kjors’ presence added one more potential hunter to their ranks, he had become untrustworthy – a time bomb waiting to go off. Perhaps their numbers would be small for the winter, but they would thrive – Kisla would see to that.

When Lachesis called for her ex-Advisor, the female quickened her pace. Her creamy paws traipsed across lands that had become achingly familiar without thought – and soon, the pale form of her co-leader would come to view. There was no sign of the one-eyed dragon yet, but as she strode toward the side of her companion, the stoical expression upon her façade could barely keep the stern disappointment from her features – muzzle high, tail lifted, Kisla Baranski finally stood as a queen once more – a queen finally ready to take the words of rising the River wolves to their former glory to heart, and this was only but the first step toward doing so. NO longer would the untrustworthy be welcomed in to their ranks – Hearthwood River would be family once more.

When the dragon answered, he was met with a firmness she had not placed towards a fellow pack mate before -- not like this. Inwardly, she cringed, recalling accusations of others that she was cold. But no, this was survival -- and i the dragon could not conform to certain respectful standards and threatened the safety of his pack mates for his desire to reign, he was not welcome here, and Kjors was quickly escorted out by the two. She ensured he did not linger -- but it was a certain dread that filled her as her green eyes watched the one-eyed wolf go.
