@Castel for you! <3

It was there. She knew it was. Her ebony nose twitched as the scent of a rodent wafted into her nostrils. Tawny body frozen in a crouched position as her muzzle hovered inches away from the surface of the snow. An ear twitched as the rodent scurried beneath the untouched layer of snow. It was there. Rocking back on her hindlegs, Ade pushed with all her strength with her hindlegs to propel herself straight down into the snow where the rodent hid. She had seen foxes use this maneuver while hunting. However, Ade was no fox.

Overestimating the power she held in her hind quarters, the push was strong enough to not only overshoot her target, but also had enough power to topple her butt over her head. Landing with a silent thud, her upper body completely submerged in the deep snow. Even being immersed in the snow, she could hear the rodent scurry away from her. And it seemed to be just laughing away at her. Bicolored eyes narrowed in frustration, but the emotion was halfhearted. A fit of laughter followed as she imagined how amusing she had to look to someone not stuck in the snow.

After a few more laughs at herself, Adelayde attempted to get herself out of the position she had gotten herself in, but it was to no avail. Now it wasn't as funny as it had been before. “Oh no...” She sighed as she tried to wiggle her butt but nothing would budge against the snow. She didn't have the right angle to get herself out of this predicament. Shoot. Now there was only one thing she could do in a situation like this...

I cannot believe I forgot to reply to this; it's literally the funniest thing ever.

Cas was pretty much sold that the Larkcall Lowlands were the best place ever. Wide open spaces, plenty of room to run, and freedom to go wherever she pleased. It was heaven on earth, basically, after spending her whole life in a damn cage. She was finally, finally free, and though she was aching from her long travels, she was content to trot through the snow, her tail waving happily behind her as she sank about belly-deep into the mounds of ice crystals.

She almost missed the large, wolfy butt sticking out of the snow to her right as she continued on, but she did not miss the cry for help.

The little wolf turned quickly, blue eyes round as she searched for whomever could've made that noise. It had sounded muffled, but close, and she had no idea the implications that it carried. But, when she saw some poor wolf sticking with their entire upper body ensconced in snow, she first was overcome by the urge to laugh.

So, she did. Loudly. At the large stranger's expense.

"Hang on, let me help you," she placated once her laughter had died down, and trotted over to the poor creature, all the while wondering how the hell she'd gotten herself into such a mess. It was hilarious, yes, but also dangerous. Hypothermia might set in if she was stuck there for too long, and Cas wouldn't let that happen. So, the little wolf set herself to digging at the snow that was trapping the larger female in its icy grasp.

Sorry for the wait on this!!! ):

She dearly hoped someone was nearby that could hear her shrieks for help. If nobody was, she was surely in deep trouble. Literally... Nothing but silence filled the air after her loud yells, but before she could quite give up hope, she could hear muffled laughter in the distance through the snow, though it was definitely close. Were they laughing at her? Though normally, she would laugh right along with them if she could possibly see the sight of herself, but now was not the time for laughter. Well at least right now. Maybe after she got out of this mess she got herself in, she would join in on the laughter.

Thankfully, the stranger came to her aid as she could hear the crunching of snow beneath their paws as they closed the distance between them. Before she could suggest anything to the stranger on how to get her large, burly body out of this dreadful pit, she felt and heard the other digging along her side. Wiggling her body to help loosen the snow as the other dug, she was surprised to feel the pressure of the snow around her dissipate so quickly. Before she knew it, she was free as sunlight filtered through the hole and allowed her to get back onto her feet.

Shaking off the snow on her face and shoulders, she looked over towards her savior with a smile, "Hey, thanks for that! Definitely got myself in a mess there."
