While it was odd that the Bend had been Leotie's first pack it certainly wasn't unheard of. Loner parents had litters all the time, they mostly didn't survive but sometimes they did. With that thought Aponi let the tawny woman's history go, choosing to believe her assumptions rather than pry any farther. Really without any juicy details easily spilled she had lost interest in chasing after her personal business almost immediately. Maybe it was a mistake, the Aquila knew better than anyone what secrets lay in the past behind polite conversations but she didn't believe that Leotie could harm a fly.
However, past aside that still left a blatant problem at paw. Being an adult member of a pack and unable to track at even a rudimentary level would pose problems beyond being lost for a couple of weeks. Now that winter had set in if Leotie wandered off again and didn't know how to return it would mean certain death; especially if she spent her spare time hunting mice. Lifting herself off the snowy ground a warmer smile spread across the silver woman's muzzle, "Well come on then, maybe I can teach you a little something." The tone was pleasant but firm, Aponi as usual was not going to take no for an answer.
