Trotting along the borders, the grey scale woman allowed her pale eyes to roam, scanning the area for any disturbances or anything near them. So far, it had been a quiet day and despite knowing that was a good thing and not knowing why, Amaryllis felt...ansty and unsettled. There was no reason for her to feel that way, expect for the stillness in the air. Maybe she could go find one of her packmates or check on what Merida and Mouse were doing? Meri could certainly be a handful at times, while Mouse could be as quiet as well, a mouse.
Not that she minded how her children acted or what they did, as long as they didn't get into too much trouble. Of which, she suspected Meri would get into a lot once she was a little older. Still, she adores her two pups and could never become too angry at their antics for long.
And as much as she wanted to go and check on them now, she had to finish this patrol first, even with that sense of dread lingering in her chest. Everything would be fine.
