Sometimes it seemed their mother didn't know who they were at all. She seemed to be gone for longer and longer each time and it was often during her absence that Treyah would arrive, and use bad words, "Fucksake," he muttered under his breath with a smirk, remembering the utter look of mortification on her face the first time he had parroted the phrase back to her. No, something wasn't right, and while his siblings seemed to be too slow to pick it up at all it left the boy with an unhealthy amount of worries for one so young. What did it mean?

He watched his siblings squabble again and contained the way his eyes wished to roll back in his head. Something wasn't right, although he didn't have enough experience of anything else to quite place his paw on it. He had watched @Lacey and her parents, but instead of their own parents bringing them bits of regurgitated meat and stopping them from straying too far it was their older sister Treyah that did the same for them. Could it be that because Lacey had no older siblings her parents had to do everything? Or was there something else going on entirely.
