In her mind, it felt like all she had to do was howl and he would respond back. The two of them would meet and then be on their way. Isaura knew in her gut that it wouldn't be that simple. It was highly unlikely that he was here in the same vicinity as soon as she returned. Yet, she couldn't help but hope.
Rain tapped across her back as she walked among the pine trees. Her head was high as she scanned the area around her, trying to find a sign that she wasn't alone in this place. Wolf or prey either one would help her. Nose twitching she noted with a flicker of concern that it seemed like there had been some coyotes in this place. The scent was old and stale but she couldn't help but worry that they would come back and find her on her own, especially if there was a lot of them. One or two she could probably handle but more than that and she would have to flee and hope they didn't catch her.
