Hawthorne had not been in the best of the moods the past few days. Her squintiness seemed to be at an all-time high. Perhaps it was the weather or maybe it was the fact she was rounding her teenage years. Or it was a terrible combo of both.
Either way she was quick to notice negative things.
For one, that new wolf who had been quick to defend herself was gone with the wind. Not a word. It left a sour taste in her mouth that caused an unintentional growl to escape the salt and pepper girl. Maybe they should have been a little more tough on her. She had use the reason of looking for someone to join the pack. It all seemed so wrong. Hawthorne may have still been a kid but she was willing to speak her mind if that girl ever came around again.
She huffed, shaking out her coat to release the snow that had gathered upon her. She needed to go do something productive to release her bottled frustation.
